Our House "Paradis"

This is our house in 2020. We moved here in mid 2019 but even though the previous owners had know of the completion date for six months when we arrived they still had not removed their belongings, it took them two days and a lot of cajoling while we had to stay in an hotel, but nobody seemed very concerned. There were a lot of locals bargaining for items of furniture that we had declined to buy but it was a friendly atmoshere execpt for me quietly fumming while taking a video of the proceedings.

The Terrace was an addition that we constructed to give some quality outdoor space but in the shade, very necessary here. The Glass Sliding Doors give access from the Master Bedroom.

Samar Cobra

This is a Samar Cobra. We had one that was hiding in the offcuts of wood that had been left next to the terrace during construction only last week - May 2020. Click on the image to know more about this highly venomous species of spitting cobra native to this area - Bohol Island.
